about

Cafe Fuego is a delicate fusion of soulful sounds, highlighted with a world music flair, bossa-nova grooves and inspired by Latin and Cuban roots. Canadian producers/composers Les Troublemakers (Marc Bell & Cristobal Tapia) and Gabriel Aubry (executive producer & guitar), have created Cafe Fuego Volume 1. The premiere album of this exotic new series was release on September 30th, 2008.
"I have been so fortunate working with such talented musicians on Cafe Fuego. This album is our heart and soul put to music, and I hope that the Cuban, folk, and bossa nova influences that come together on the album will captivate our audiences," says Aubry.

Several musicians lend their musical talents to the album, creating an eclectic sound that is both romantic and subdued in places, and uplifting and playful in others. From the upbeat guitar and salsa sounds on 'El Camino' to the gentler, more intimate 'Suave', the album combines modern urban elements with the more traditional influences of bossa nova, Cuban beats, and brilliant Caribbean rhythms.
